Kongattil house, Guruvayur - a reputed tharavadu
This tharavadu was founded in 1600. Kongattil tharavadu first appeared in vadanappalli. One of our ancestors brought it from Vadanapalli to Guruvayur. It has been there eversince
The tharavadu has been demolished and only the Machu( room were our family God is installed) has been retained. Every year a pooja is offered to the family God.
